Our work includes animal care, outreach programs and education programs.
Animal care is obviously a big part of life at Edgar's Mission. We have the responsibility of the health and well being of over 100 residents. Image left: Some of the rescued animals at Edgar's Mission Farm Sanctuary
Outreach
Edgar’s Mission seeks to inform people about how their lifestyle and dietary choices are making an impact on animals. We believe that by meeting our animal ambassadors and by learning about the plight of farm animals the public will be empowered to make more informed and compassionate choices. Edgar's Mission therefore is regularly represented at various markets and stalls around metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria.
Education Programs
Edgar’s Mission always welcomes visits from schools and colleges. The Education Programs offered by Edgar’s Mission aim to inspire and empower students to increase their empathy and respect for animals, each other and the planet.
