For the past decade, Anđela Španović has dedicated herself to the welfare of stray animals in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Motivated by her passion for animal rescue, she established “WagWag” with a visionary goal: to develop a mobile application that supports volunteers, associations, veterinarians, and shelters in addressing the challenges they face daily.

Beyond the app’s development, Anđela’s mission encompasses multifaceted initiatives. These include fostering interactive educational programs in elementary and high schools, spearheading a cat sterilization campaign, offering legal aid to volunteers and those in need, and confronting issues like substandard conditions and corruption within local shelters.
