Sofia Levanti works as Operations Coordinator at Animal Action Greece, a charity dedicated to protecting animals across Greece since 1959. In her role, she helps coordinate vital programmes that provide veterinary care to stray cats and dogs, support for working equines, and education initiatives that promote compassion and responsible ownership.

Sofia is particularly passionate about bringing together local communities, volunteers, and international supporters to create sustainable solutions for animal welfare challenges in Greece. She has been closely involved in outreach projects for stray animals, as well as efforts to improve the welfare of donkeys, mules, and horses across the country. Through her work, Sofia aims to build stronger connections between local organisations, the public, and the wider international animal welfare movement — ensuring that all animals in Greece can live healthier, safer lives.
