Overview Of Activities:

Svetlana Manojlovic has been actively engaged in the protection and welfare of animals since 1998. She is the founder of the first animal protection society in Montenegro, Society for the Protection of Animals Podgorica, which was a member of the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA).

Svetlana graduated from the academy for teachers in the field of animal rights and welfare (ATMB in Graz, Austria). She is also an organizer and coordinator of a series of seminars, lectures and practical workshops for veterinarians and NGO activists on the topic of animal welfare and welfare that were realized in cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations such as WSPA, FECAVA, YASAP, VKCG, and others.

She is the author of 3 workbooks on the protection of the environment and animals for children of pre-school and school age, as well as numerous brochures on this subject. She held over 800 workshops with children of pre-school and school age. She often hosts promoting ideas of a human relationship to life on state and local TV stations. 

She was a member of working groups for European CG In front of NGOs sector, and member of the working group for negotiating chapter 12 of the government of Montenegro. In 2018. she became a member of the Council for Animal Protection of the Government of Montenegro. For the past twenty years, she organized events that marked the week of World Animal Day. She participated and presented at several international conferences throughout the region and Europe organized by WSPA, Dog Trust and FECAVA.
