2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition – Leopard cat Conservation Exhibition
For the 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition, Taichung City government has planned the “Lishan Leopard cat ” area in the Houli Forest Park, and installed a mirror device to connect the Leopard Cat and Lishan environments by the visual meaning of broken habitat to show the visitors the ecological issues of Leopard cat conservation.
The venue of 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition was scheduled originally in Houli District, but because of the discovery of the trace of Leopard Cats by the city’s ecological resources investigation commissioner – NCHU University, Taichung City Government decided to change the original development plan by moving the venue to another place, so the original habitat of Leopard cat can be preserved.
