Our first World Animal Day event, “An Evening of Kindness, Love & Bananas” was a success! Thanks to our family, friends, and supporters, we were able to spread the message about various animal welfare issues. Through our new children’s books series, we are hoping to reduce animal cruelty through education and awareness. Almost every guest purchased one of our books and we are very grateful!
Specifically, we focused on the issue of elephants used for human entertainment and combined our book launch celebration with an intense documentary. The film was emotional and got people talking after the event. Our goal is to raise funds equal to a ton of bananas that we can take to the elephants in sanctuaries!!
