Animal Batucada
We invite you to a series of activites we are organizing aimed at improving animal welfare standards in our country. Animal Batucada will be held on Saturday October 8 commencing at 12 midday and has the support of a coalition of over 30 animal welfare organizations. It will be a massive media event involving percussion from trash cans to orchestras! On this we will highlight all the animal cruelty issues in our country and call upon all citizens to treat animals with the respect they deserve. Mexico City-It will begin with a March starting at the Angel of Independence and end at the Monument to the Revolution where there will be a concert, theatre and dance. There will be the opportunity to sign a petition calling for stricter animal protection laws and many information stalls manned by animal welfare NGOs (more than 30 so far).
