Awareness Day for pets promotion
In celebration of World Animal Day this year, we held an event on 28th September which is World Rabies Day.
We made people aware of the need to pay attention to the care and health of their pets. Too many people don’t take care of their pets properly not realising that it endangers the health of not only the animal but also the people who come into contact with the animal.
We chose a community most affected by cases of rabies. We asked the Mayor to cooperate with us by providing a venue and materials for our community event. We will have the NATIONAL ORDER OF VETERINARIES DOCTORS as partners on the ground that day.
