World Animal Day reception organised by Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation: A tribute to Sir David Amess
The Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation will be organising its annual World Animal Day reception at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham. This year the reception will be hosted by Jane Stevenson MP, the Conservative MP who successfully led legislation to ban the use of cruel glue traps, and will be held in tribute to Sir David Amess MP, Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation’s late Patron and dear friend who passed away last year. Sir David was a champion for advancing animal welfare, and we will hear from several high profile speakers including the new MP in his constituency of Southend West, Anna Firth.
