Community Footprints World Animal Day-Nakuru, Kenya
AIMS:Â Community Footprints is a Planned Event aiming to raise AWARENESS that will mark the MAP of CHANGE-a Platform where Community will meet Educators and Organisations, Partnerships will be IDENTIFIED.
THE MAP will be marked with FOOTPRINTS OF CHANGE-Community Advocates with be identified-to participate in future Education Projects through existing Networks and Community Empowerment Groups on the importance of Conservation of Natural Resources and Wildlife. These will be delivered into communities living directly around the Lake Nakuru National Park.
Our Campaign will begin at 8.00 am at St. Mary’s Primary School where we will collect our first steps on the map-our 1000 000 Footprints to Save Africa team will be at the school collecting footprints of OUR FLAGSHIP SCHOOL-then we are heading on to Meet the COMMUNITY-at 10.00 am at the RAILWAYS POLICE STATION. Then the FUN BEGINS! We will be SINGING AND DANCING WALKING AND TALKING Across NAKURU TOWN on our way to St. Paul’s University-Nakuru Campus where Educators and Organisations will meet with Communities.
We will BEGIN OUR EVENT at the University with a Service by the University Chaplin-for St. Francis-the PATRON SAINT OF ANIMALS-A a day of Celebration and Education-with Community Empowerment Groups demonstrating skills of Hospitality-Educators will identify Advocates of CHANGE ..
