DIY cat house project
As a private school called “Gauss Bilim Adası” in Turkey we are making cardboard cat houses for the stray cats in our neighborhood with our students. Our aim is to raise responsible and sensitive individuals to their environments.
We hope with this projects our students set an example and help raising awareness to this very important day.
Our project will take place in Kadıköy in İstanbul , where our school is located, on the 4 of October.
Özel Gauss Bilim Adası Okulları olarak amacımız çevresine karşı duyarlı ve sorumluluk sahibi bireyler yetiştirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda okulumuzun etrafındaki sokak kedilerine kartondan kedi evi yapma projesi başlattık. Umarız öğrencilerimiz bu örnek davranışlarıyla bu önemli güne dikkat çekilmesine yardımcı olurlar.

Gauss Bilim Adası students had great fun giving stray cats a home. They decorated it with their own pictures and take the diy houses to a near area around our school where stray cats are populated. They also cleaned the area after placing the houses. We are proud of our students.
Gauss Bilim Adası öğrencileri kendi resimleriyle süsledikleri evleri yerleştirirken çok eğlendiler. Ayrıca kedi evlerini yerleştirmekle kalmayıp çevredeki çöpleri de toplayarak doğaya da destek oldular. Bağışları ve el emekleriyle bu güne destek olan tüm öğrencilerimizle gurur duyuyoruz.
