Dr Had’s Jazz
A CHARITY evening of jazz entertainment featuring Dr Had’s Jazz will take place at Canvas & Cream Art Gallery and Restaurant in Forest Hill in support of the Dr Hadwen Trust (DHT) and World Animal Day.
This one-off jazz event on Tuesday, October 2nd will feature songs on an animal theme performed by renowned jazz singer Alex Carter on vocals and top jazz musicians Dave Chamberlain on bass and Christian Vaughan on piano.
All proceeds from this event will go towards the DHT to help fund and promote groundbreaking techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research and testing.
Guests will enjoy a vegetarian food and bar, and the evening coincides with the first night of artist Martin Aveling’s beautiful animal portraits exhibition.
There will also be a raffle on the night to win animal friendly luxury prizes generously donated by a variety of organisations.
The event will be held from 7:30 pm, Tuesday 2nd October, at Canvas & Cream Art Gallery & Restaurant, 18 London Road, Forest Hill, London SE23 3HF.
