Drawing & Painting Competition for Children
To help celebrate World Animal Day on Tuesday 4th October 2011, the Stirling Health Food Store is launching a drawing & painting competition for children. The theme of this fun competition is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ and is open to young artists 12 years of age and under. The contest will run throughout October. Entrants will be divided into 3 categories: 4 years and under; 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. The winner of each group will win a fabulous animal related prize! There will also be fantastic runner-up prizes for those finishing 2nd and 3rd in each category. Entry forms can be collected from the shop at 29 Dumbarton Road, Stirling (Monday to Saturday, 9am-5.30pm) and all entries must be returned to the shop no later than Monday 31st October 2011. Winners will be notified by Saturday 5th November and a gallery of the winning artwork will appear on the shop’s website at www.stirlinghealthfoodstore.co.uk In addition to this, every child’s entry will go on display inside the shop, for a short time, once the winners have been announced.
