Educational: Conflict with snakes and snake bite management
We will celebrate World Animal Day on Saturday 22nd October. Our programs for the day will include: Conflict with snakes & snake bite management-there will be an educational presentation with some dangerous snakes, followed by a talk about the status of snake bite cases in Malaysia. We have decided to take this opportunity to focus mainly on snakes because many snakes are being killed and used for many purposes such as: exotic food, cosmetic, clothing apparels etc. Therefore we want to educate the general public about the importance of snakes to the ecosystem & enviroment.
