Free Pet Check-up + Discounts at Shelly Pet Store Chain
We invite all dog and cat owners to enjoy a wide selection of special offers, discounts and benefits worth NIS 300 and more. All pet owners are invited to come with their pets to the Society which is situated at 159 Herzl Street, any time from 08:00 19:00, where the Society vet will give the animals a free check-up and either a Quadruple Vaccine (for cats) or a Hexagonal vaccine (for dogs) at the special rate of NIS 50 per vaccine. The pet store chain, Shelly will run a stall where all sorts of products and pet foods will be offered at considerable discounts, and discount vouchers to the sum of NIS 50 will be distributed for use in any of the stores belonging to the chain.< br>The goal of World Animal Day is to recognize the importance and beauty of the animal world, to show appreciation for the ways that animals enrich our lives and for the many roles that they fill in their unique way. This tradition started in Florence, Italy in 1931, when ecologists held a special conference warning of the encroaching danger of extinction of various species in the animal world at that time. Since then, this day has become a day for all animals and the people who love and respect them, and is celebrated in different ways in every country with no regard to nationality, religion, faith or political ideology.
