Free Spay & Neuter Camp in Sauraha, Chitwan National Park
HART Team in Bharatpur, Chitwan is conducting a free spay and neuter camp in Sauraha today to dedicate this work and day to the World Animal Day.
Sauraha is a village of Ratnanagar Municipality in Chitwan District and Chitwan Valley, in Bagmati Pradesh of southern Nepal. Sauraha lies adjacent to Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is a preserved area in the Terai Lowlands of south-central Nepal, known for its biodiversity
There has always been dog vs wildlife conflict in Sauraha. As a consequence, we all had to witness the horrific poisoning incident. Let us hope that we such inhumane and cruel act will not be repeated in the future.
HART has tried its best to extend its work from Bharatpur to Chitwan.
This year again, we have chosen this day to conduct a free spay and neuter program in Sauraha. We would like to thank Martina Manders, an expat who has been living in Sauraha and thankfully is taking care of many community dogs in the area. She is assisting HART team today to arrange the neutering camp in Sauraha.
