Free Treatment Camp for Animals- Vets Care Club UVAS

On the occasion of World Animal Day, the Vets Care Club, UVAS Lahore is organizing a Free Treatment Camp for Animals to promote animal welfare and responsible ownership. The camp will provide free medical checkups, vaccinations, deworming, and basic treatments for both pets and farm animals.
A special focus of this initiative is to support farmers from underprivileged areas, who cannot afford veterinary services and whose animals often suffer silently due to lack of treatment. By offering these services free of cost, the camp aims to improve the health and productivity of their livestock, which are the main source of their livelihood.
This initiative spreads awareness about the importance of animal health, preventive care, and the human–animal bond. By engaging veterinary students, professionals, and the community, the event highlights the role of veterinarians in serving both animals and society under the spirit of “Caring for Animals, Caring for Life.”
Target Audience: Pet owners, farmers (especially from underprivileged areas), veterinary students, and the general community.
Impact: Providing treatment to animals in need, supporting farmers’ livelihoods, raising awareness about preventive healthcare, and fostering a culture of kindness and responsibility towards animals.
