Ghana Celebrates World Animal Day 2014

Visit two schools and a church in each community in the following 4 regions of Ghana to give talks on Animal Welfare.
1. Takoradi, Western Region of Ghana
2. Secondi, Western Region of Ghana
3. Somanya in Eastern Region of Ghana
4. Koforidua in Eastern Region of Ghana
5. Accra in Greater Accra region
6. Dodowa in Greater Accra Region
7. Nkwanta District in Volta Region of Ghana
8. Kpassa District in the Volta Region of Ghana
Facilitators to undertake the World Animal Day project include: Ujakpa Martin Mabeifam, Godson Charnor, Afram Richard, Charles Elimbe, David Ntekim Ujakpa, Vincent and Gabriel Dinu.
The visits are scheduled for 3rd to 17th October, 2014. We estimate a population of 800 people will be reached through this campaign.
Animal welfare messages will also be sent by email to another 1000 people. Facebook and other social media opportunities will also be used to ensure our message reaches the maximum number of people.
