MARKET STALL – END LIVE EXPORT BE KIND TO ALL ANIMALS AND OUR PLANET
TALE- Townsville Against Live Export Inc. will be holding a market stall at our local Cotters Market on Sunday 5 October to raise public awareness of the animal welfare, social, economic and environmental impacts of the live export trade. Our stall will have information available, merchandise for sale, a quiz about the live export trade and postcards addressed to the Prime Minister for people to sign calling for an end to all live animal exports. During the 2024-2025 financial year 94,155 animals were shipped from Townsville, making our city Australia’s second largest live export port for cattle.
