PAWS World Animal Day Celebration and Pet Blessing
In celebration of World Animal Day, PAWS is once again hosted the grandest PET BLESSING in the city. It was held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on October 1 and allowed people to have their pets blessed.
The Festivities kicked off at 2pm with a pet parade around the mall that was followed by the main program at 3pm where exciting prizes were raffled off and special awards were given to the best dressed and most unique pets in attendance.
The holy mass at 4pm featured the PAWS Dr. Dogs and PAWS Aspin Club members in special roles during the Eucharistic celebration. Everyone was also teary-eyed during the renewal of their pledge to their fur babies. And finally, every animal was individually blessed by Fr. Joey Paras SDB and will received a blessing certificate.
