Primary School Program & Street Dog Vaccination and Sterilization Progam
The Nigeria SPCA is organizing a Primary School Programme in Lagos at the Nigeria SPCA Complex, 11 Gray Street, Sabo, Yaba, to mark World Animal Day 2011. The Nigeria SPCA complex and shelter was recently renovated and commissioned by the District Governor of the Rotary Club of Lagos. Activities will include animal games, drama, a quiz, talks, video show etc. We shall also continue with our Street Dog Vaccination and Sterilization Program in which we have so far treated several hundred street dogs. There will also be free veterinary treatment for other animals including Spay & Neuter. The Nigeria SPCA Vet and other volunteers will be available to answer questions on animal welfare issues on World Animal Day.
