Rally to call for an End to the Cruel Live Export Trade
Please join members and supporters of Townsville Against Live Export (TALE) outside the office of Cathy O ‘Toole, the Federal Member for Herbert, cnr Ross River Road and Nathan Street, Townsville at 10:30am on Saturday 7 October 2017 as we call for an END to the CRUEL LIVE ANIMAL EXPORT TRADE.

Our rally was attended by a number of members and supporters, attracted a good response from passing traffic and helped increase public awareness of this cruel trade and the extent to which our city is involved. Townsville is the second largest export port for cattle in Australia (after Darwin ). In the 2016 calendar year 224,255 cattle were exported from the Port Of Townsville.
