Sarajevo anti-fur World Animal Day
Bosnia and Herzegovina activists are striving to save the existing Law on animal protection and welfare and its fur farming ban that is about to go in force by January 2018. But, fur farmers launched campaign and Proposal on amendments to postpone the ban for one more decade is almost enacted. There is one more month till the last decission.
So, No Fur Coalition in Bosnia and Herzegovina is going to promote the existing law and animal welfare and inform the citizens on what is really going on at fur farms.

The event took 5 hours of informing citizens on the fur-farming issue in Bosnia and Bosnian ban. We collected around 250 signatures to the petition and shared brochures.
We also awarded one political party with Certificate of gratitude for their public denouncing efforts of Bosnian fur lobby to postpone Bosnian ban for more than a decade.
