School Presentations and Workshop on Zoonotic Diseases
Here is our program for World Animal Day 2011. 1. We shall contact the local schools and offer to give an illustrated presentation about our work on Animal Welfare and our ongoing project on Humane Dog Population & Rabies Management. 2. We will organize a 1-day Workshop on Zoonotic diseases & its public health importance to make the general public more aware about diseases that transmit from animals to humans. The event will be celebrated at Animal Relief Centre, Guwahati, and different schools of Guwahati, Jorhat and Nagoan Assam. An Awareness campaign will be organised in Delhi. Dr Smriti.
