St Francis Blessing of the Animals : Sunday 2nd October 2016
We spent a wonderful morning with the Brackenhurst Methodist Church, in celebration of animals. Quite an assortment of pets were there to be blessed, ranging from different breeds of dogs to tortoises, hamsters and even bunnies! We took four of our shelter dogs to the blessing and were overjoyed to learn that there were a few people interested in adopting each of them. Thank you Reverend Faan Myburgh, Reverend Brian Oosthuizen and Reverend Ina Guy, for a truly memorable experience.
