To celebrate the feast of St. Francis as well as World Animal Day, The

Island Sanctuary will be holding an Open Day on Sunday the 7th October

2012. Doors open at 9.30 a.m. Visitors will be able to go round the

premises and volunteers will be there to give information about the

sanctuary to those interested.

There will also be a Book Sale, Bazaar, Facepainting, Sale of Homemade

Cakes, cup cakes etc.,Food and Drinks.

All activities stop at 4.00 p.m. and event ends with Mass at 4.30 p.m.

All those attending the Mass are invited to bring their pets along.

After Mass all pets will be blessed and a token will be given to each

family that attends the Mass.
