The Mayhew ‘sponsored event week’
The Mayhew Animal Home is currently one of the busiest and most effective animal welfare organisations in London, helping thousands of dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals escape a life of abandonment, neglect and cruelty each year.
For world Animal Day we would like to invite you, our amazing supporters, to organise your very own sponsored event! The main aim is to raise funds and awareness for The Mayhew/Mayhew International and we would like each person/group to try to raise £100. However, please don’t be put off by the amount…..we would be so happy with anything you can raise, and we’re sure you’ll have lots of fun in the process!
Ideas for sponsored events can be really simple. Here’s some ideas:
- Sponsored silence (something your friends and family might be super excited to sponsor you for!)
- Sponsored car wash
- Sponsored walk/dog walk/run/bike ride/swim
- Sponsored dog grooming
- Tea Party
- Come Dine With Me
- Cake Sale
