Veterinary outreach
World Animal Day itself we spent by doing a veterinary outreach in Kimara in Dar es Salaam. After announcing in the area where we were set up, people came with their pets and we gave them free rabies vaccinations and acaricidal and anti-flea treatment. We took contact details from the people that brought intact dogs and cats, so we can make an appointment to have them spayed or neutered soon.
