WAD Family Fun Day
Argos Family Fun Day celebrated World Animal Day with an event that took place at the Argos sanctuary. Many stalls were set up selling bric-a-brac, toys, mugs, Argos T-shirts and lots of food and drinks.
Microchipping vouchers offered by MedVets of Paralimni and many wonderful raffle prizes were donated by local businesses from: Hokkaido Japanese restaurant meal voucher, Annas Hair & Beauty Salon, special occasion ‘hair up’ session, Nissi Beach resort salon, cut & blow dry, Frenaros Sports Bar meal voucher, Fourni Taverna, meal voucher, Fabric Memories, 2 personalised T-shirts, Masalas Indian restaurant, meal voucher, 5-star Grecian Bay Hotel, Dinner and one night for 2 people.
We had a wonderful turnout and many visitors had brought their Argos adopted pets to enjoy the day as well. We raised 1,738 euros. A big thank you to all our supporters and to all the volunteers who gave up their free time to come in and help make the day a success.
