On a cool Saturday, 30th September, our Manzini branch held a 5km Spring Walk through the Macadamia Orchards of the African Christian College. The walk was enjoyed by about 50 walkers with their canine companions. The tea and cake served afterwards were much appreciated also. This has become an annual event to raise awareness of the plight of animals in Swaziland and around the world.
Also, on the 4th October, the Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Service aired an information slot on the importance of animals in our society. This radio service has total coverage in Swaziland and so this was a really positive initiative and we hope its impact will be felt in the coming year.
