World Animal Day
Born Free Foundation – Kenya, is celebrating the conservation of wildlife and protecting them from extinction, in collaboration with Big Life Foundation, Nature Kenya, CHD Conservation Kenya, Amboseli Ecosystem Trust, Air Kenya, Kenya Wildlife Service, Amboseli community members and Schools.
The event will include a clean-up exercise and tree planting activity to protect the environment; and talks from the conservation organisations encompassing elephants and their habitats, the role of vultures in cleaning the environment, giraffes and poaching, Amboseli ecosystem zonation, hyena conservation and lions and community co-existence.
