World Animal Day 2019 – Vet Tech Association – UAGM Ponce, Puerto Rico
Members of the Tech Vet Association of the UAGM Ponce Veterinary Technology program in Puerto Rico, commemorate World Animal Day today. Throughout an informative table, the university community was oriented and informed about the animals that exist in the world and how they impact our ecosystem. The campus students, faculty and administrative staff joined and supported the initiative.

Through this initiative, we were able to create awareness about how the presence of animals worldwide impact our ecosystem. As Veterinary Technology students, we have learned to recognize the inextricable linkage between humans, animals and our ecosystem. Our goal today was to raise awareness on the subject and help others recognize the importance of our animals and the entire ecosystem.
