World Animal Day at Edgar’s Mission
It was a change of pace this year for our annual World Animal Day celebrations as Edgar’s Mission hosted an intimate luncheon for 30 special guests. Attendees were treated to a feast like no other, with cruelty free catering by the aptly named Vegan Delicious, within the sanctuary grounds. Not even a clouded sky could dim the enthusiasm as guests were then treated to a special sanctuary tour, meeting the animal residents, hearing their stories and even cuddling up to a few of them too!
World Animal Day falls annually on October 4th and is a social movement charged with the mission of raising the status of animals worldwide. It is an honour for Edgar’s Mission to recognise and celebrate this event each and every year.
