World Animal Day Mass, Cochabamba

WORLD ANIMAL DAY Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Cochabamba, Bolivia – on October 6th – the 1st Sunday after October 4th!

WORLD ANIMAL DAY was celebrated successfully in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Cochabamba, this year with much more attendance than last year, of animals and people, with signs. It was SO beautiful!

Mass was concelebrated by several priests headed by Mr. Bishop. And after the Procession, we went to the Church of San Francisco.
I call your attention to the first two photos – they are very important because people put together a platform in front of the Cathedral where people came up with posters, bands played music, and at the foot were children with many beautiful posters.

Another one is one that you are going to see me caressing a black puppy because THIS PUPPY WAS ALONE! HE CAME ON HIS OWN TO THE MASS, STAYED WITH ME FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER AND UNTIL THE MASS WAS OVER. He didn’t want anyone to grab him or to take him. He was a homeless stray puppy because he was dirty without a collar and no vaccination tape. By no means would he let himself get caught and mixed between so many people and animals.
SO EXCITING!!!!
Every year is better and more full of love and joy!

Animals and the people who take care of them are Blessed once again this year!

Note below added by World Animal Day HQ:

Despite the backdrop of a disputed election, a deposed president and widespread street protests leaving Bolivia in political and social turmoil, Liliana Tellez-Flor, our World Animal Day Ambassador, still managed to ensure that the country’s animals were not forgotten.
