TOY BREED RESCUE
Loree Schwartz coordinates Toy Breed Rescue in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and has been rescuing Shih Tzu and other toy breeds since 1978.
Toy Breed Rescue is run by volunteers who do everything from transporting the dogs to fostering and adopting them into their forever homes. They are funded solely by donations and adoption fees. A licensed Veterinarian sees all rescued dogs. They are examined, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dentals are done when needed, groomed and wormed. Loree also accepts some medically challenged dogs whose needs extend from orthopaedic surgery to liver shunt surgery and more. Senior dogs are also received into the rescue program and are given a chance at the BEST REST OF THEIR LIVES!
Some of the breeds Toy Breed Rescue saves are Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Malte
