World Animal Day Working Lunch
To celebrate World Animal Day and 10 years of animal welfare in Egypt, Amina Abaza, Founder & President of SPARE and Egypt’s World Animal Day Ambassador, has invited a group of 60 animal welfarists to their Sakkara farm on 7 October. All those invited have played a key role for this noble cause and what’s been accomplished can only be called a MIRACLE! At one time, nobody would have thought for one minute that one day animal welfare would be flourishing in Egypt, accepted by many people and even writen about in the media,including TV programmes and cinema …. Amina has said she will be honored to host a luncheon for such wonderful people and has asked them to bring T-shirts and posters if they represent an animal organization, or to bring photographs of activities if working as an individual, so everyone can learn about the work of others and discuss ways the animal welfare movement can advance in Egypt during the next few years.
