How to get involved early with World Animal Day 2024!
Now that we’ve decided on our theme, “The world is their home too”, we can start the planning process and that means you can get involved now!
Plan an event!
Planning an event is one of the best ways to get involved with World Animal Day and spread the animal love in your community. It’s completely up to you what you decide to plan to celebrate the occasion – we love to see events of different styles and sizes. If you need a bit of help planning and organising your event, take a look at our handy toolkits to get started and once you’re ready to go, make sure you submit your event on our website so we can spread the word!
Our World Animal Day mug competition is back!
Another year, another chance to win your artwork on our celebratory mug!
World Animal Day 2024 might still seem far away on October 4 but we’re already planning, and this year we wanted to kick start our mug competition earlier to give more people a chance to enter! If you, or any children in your life enjoy getting creative and have a love for animals then this competition is perfect for you. It’s a brilliant way to get kids interested in animals and having fun interacting with a charity. If you’re stuck for children’s activities over the half term or summer holidays then this could be a fun and easy way to get creative!
All you have to do is fill in our competition form and draw your design in the box, then you send it to us at our office by post or email and wait to hear if you’ve won! Our winner will receive a copy of their design on our 2024 celebratory mugs as a commemoration of your win, there are also prizes for the runners up in each age category. The deadline is August 31st so you have plenty of time to take part, or encourage others too. Good luck!
