Animal health camp at Gulma forest village - India

On Sunday 2nd December, PFA Siliguri held a free animal health camp at Gulma forest village which is about five kilometres from Siliguri.

Members of PFA Siliguri circulated during the camp distributing leaflets and educating villagers about caring for animals properly.

During the camp, more than 200 cows, calves, hens, ducks, and dogs were given a health check. Dogs were vaccinated against rabies, cattle were vaccinated against Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) and any necessary treatments were administered.

It was a very successful event that was funded by the 2018 World Animal Day grant.
