The 2019 World Animal Day ambassador grant is open!
From now until Friday 31st May, Naturewatch Foundation is accepting grant applications from World Animal Day Ambassadors. The charity is seeking to support two to five projects within the total sum of 5,000GBP being made available, and comparative information on costs between different countries will be taken into consideration.
Our team of more than 90 voluntary Ambassadors are actively introducing World Animal Day, and its Mission to raise the status of animals, in over 70 countries around the globe, connecting millions of animal advocates and successfully uniting the animal welfare movement in celebration of this special day.
We welcome new voluntary Ambassadors on a regular basis, all keen to be part of this global movement to bring about change for the animals. Many Ambassadors have said that since their appointment they’ve found it much easier to gain political and media attention for animal issues.
If your country is not yet represented, we’d be delighted if you could help find an animal welfare organisation to take on the role, and for them to appoint a figurehead as the Ambassador. Click here to find out more about the role of an Ambassador and eligibility.
This is the sixth year that Naturewatch Foundation has sponsored the World Animal Day grant that’s restricted to applications by World Animal Day Ambassadors.
Together we can make this world a fairer place for all animals!
