World Animal Day Mug Competition Winner for 2023!
We are delighted to announce the winner of Naturewatch Foundation’s 2023 World Animal Day ‘Design a Mug’ competition! With over 160 amazing entries judging was extremely difficult. However, after careful consideration, the winning entry came from Ruby (aged 14) with her beautiful design of a hedgehog. Her design was the perfect combination of love for animals and celebration for World Animal Day. We particularly liked the use of the hedgehog as small animals are often overlooked and the addition of the bright colours and the globe are so great for celebrating the day.

A truly international event
With entries submitted from around the world, from Turkey to Sri Lanka, the competition was a truly international event. We couldn’t just pick one winner, so decided to have a runner-up prize for the other age categories too. Congratulations to Khang and Toi Ming for their amazing entries – their prizes are on their way to them.
