Kurdistan celebrates World Animal Day
The Kurdistan Organization for Animal Rights Protection led by Dr Sulaiman Tameer Saed will be celebrating World Animal Day with a whole host of events including:
1. Visiting pet shops and following up the training programme undertaken earlier this year which was made possible through funding provided by the 2016 World Animal Day grant. This will include the monitoring of conditions for the animals, giving advice, and distributing booklets about the proper care of animals.
2. An animal welfare seminar and the release of birds back to the wild.
3. The publication of animal welfare articles in newspapers and magazines.
4. Conducting media interviews.
